Opportune chance for top EC artists to be selected for 5th edition of Lithuba Lakho exhibition

Crafters and designers, working in the Eastern Cape, have the opportunity to be selected as exhibitors for the fifth edition of the coveted Lithuba Lakho exhibition that opens at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum next month (20 March).

Lithuba Lakho means this is your opportunity and empower selected category winners with exposure, a choice of top quality material or machinery to the value of R20 000 and an opportunity to sell their wares at the exhibition. The four categories are homeware, contemporary accessories, traditional accessories and apparel.

In addition, the top ten crafters will be profiled in a brochure that will include professional photographic images of their work.

A maximum of three entries per entrant are allowed and artists are expected to bring their final work with a completed entry form to the venue to be considered for selection.

Entry forms are available at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum and Eastern Cape Development Corporations offices and on the websites of both these institutions.
